All clients must sign a Business Associate Agreement prior to implementation. We verify all clients and staff members through the Office of the Inspector General prior to signing a contract or hiring employees to ensure government compliance.

All staff members of Sourcenet must receive training on our Privacy Policy and Procedures as well as sign a separate Confidentiality and Non-Compete Agreement to meet Sourcenet guidelines for compliance. We also perform background checks on all employees prior to employment.  Each employee must sign a Business Associate Agreement to further establish there committment to compliance and to communicate that Sourcenet values them as a both an employee and a business partner.

All Sourcenet vendors that may come in contact with PHI or EPHI data sign a Business Associate Agreement to be considered a business partner with Sourcenet.

Our technology is 128 bit encrypted to provide optimum security and compliance with access to our network and database through Terminal Service technology.

Effective April 1, 2010, Sourcenet was accepted as a canidate company for the EHNAC HNAP-MB certification.  We are excited to be the first medical billing firm to undertake this certification which will further document our committment to the new HITECH guidelines.
