The deadline for PECOS submission has been moved back to January 2011. All billing providers and suppliers need to ensure that they are in the PECOS system well before January. If you are not in the system, you must enroll through PECOS. Billing providers and suppliers will eventually encounter claim rejections for services or supplies if the physician is not enrolled in PECOS.
